Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV)

Granted exclusively by the AICPA to CPAs and/or qualified valuation professionals who demonstrate considerable expertise in valuation through their knowledge, skill, experience and adherence to professional standards.

Up to $1,000 in reimbursement (exam study materials / exam fees) one time through, reimbursed after successfully passing the exam.

Bonus of $500 after successfully passing the exam.

Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA)

American Society of Appraisers accredited, the ASA credentials are intended for professionals who perform valuations in all specialties for government agencies, banking/leasing institutions, financial, insurance companies, wealth management advisors or consumers. This includes appraisals of businesses, gems & jewelry, machinery & equipment, personal property and real property. These credentials are also for those professionals who perform appraisal report reviews or related management services.

Up to $5,000 in reimbursement (exam study materials / exam fees) either as a challenge exam one time through or all four course exams one time through.  Additional reimbursement for initial ASA membership application and fees ($695) and certification application fee ($300). All eligible reimbursements will be provided after successfully passing the exam.

Bonus of $500 after successfully passing the exam.

Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD)

Provided by the Association for Talent Development Certified. An APTD understands that well-designed talent development strategies and solutions contribute to organizational success and has a strong grounding in the foundational knowledge of the field.

Reimburse for TDBoK Resource, ATPD Certification Preparation Course and exam fees (one time through) up to $2,000 after successfully passing the exam. No payback provision upon completion.

Bonus of $1,000 after successfully passing the exam.

Certified Exit Planning Advisors (CEPA)

The Certified Exit Planning Advisor credential is for professional advisors who want to effectively engage more business owners. Through the process of Exit Planning (the Value Acceleration Methodology), owners can build more valuable companies, have stronger personal financial plans, and align their personal goals. Earning CEPA doesn't change your expertise, it enhances your ability to engage business owners and have value-added conversations around growth and exit.

Reimbursement for study materials and exam fees up to $3,200 after successfully passing the exam.

Certified Financial Planner (CFP)

CFP Board Certified.  To accelerate the careers for financial professionals and obtain the standard of excellence in the profession.  Gain the respect of your colleagues and the trust of your clients.

Up to $7,000 [$5,250 per year] in reimbursement (tuition / related course materials) if needed for the required 6 pre-requisite courses (one time through).  Reimbursement is made after successfully passing each course. Up to $3,000 in reimbursement (exam study materials / exam fees) for the exam (one time through).  Direct bill available with preferred provider (Kaplan). If study materials are purchased through Kaplan, Boulay will upfront the payment of the study materials.  If materials are purchased elsewhere the individual will be reimbursed after successfully passing the exam.  Exam fees will always be reimbursed after the successful passage of the exam.

Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF)

Granted exclusively by the AICPA to CPAs and/or qualified valuation professionals who was to express expertise in litigation and investigative services (Fraud detection, prevention and response, Financial statement misrepresentation, Digital forensics, Bankruptcy and insolvency, Damages calculations and dispute resolution, Expert witness services, Investigations Family law services).

Up to $1,000 in reimbursement (exam study materials / exam fees) one time through, reimbursed after successfully passing the exam.

Bonus of $500 after successfully passing the exam.

Certified Information Privacy Professional / Europe (CIPP/E)

Issued by the International Associate of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), the CIPP/E encompasses pan-European and national data protection laws, key privacy terminology and practical concepts concerning the protections of personal and trans-border data flows.

Up to $1,900 in reimbursement (IAPP member rate study materials / exam fees) one time through. All eligible reimbursements will be provided after successfully passing the exam. Membership and credential renewal fees (every two years) will be covered by the firm.

Bonus of $1,000 after successfully passing the exam.

Certified Information Privacy Professional / United States (CIPP/US)

Issued by the International Associate of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), the Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) credential demonstrates a strong foundation in U.S. privacy laws and regulations and understanding of the legal requirements for the responsible transfer of sensitive personal data to/from the United States, the European Union and other jurisdictions.

Up to $1,900 in reimbursement (IAPP study materials / exam fees) one time through. All eligible reimbursements will be provided after successfully passing the exam. Membership and credential renewal fees (every two years) will be covered by the firm.

Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

An ISACA certification, the CISM® affirms one's ability to assess risks, implement effective governance, and proactively respond to incidents. With a highlight on emerging technologies, it guarantees one's skillset meets evolving security threats and industry requirements.

Up to $1,800 in reimbursement (application fee / exam study materials / exam fees) one time through. All eligible reimbursements will be provided after successfully passing the exam. ISACA membership will be reimbursed separately through Maconomy.

Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

An ISACA certification, the CISA certification is a world-wide accepted accreditation for entry-level to mid-career professionals who audit, control, monitor and assess an organization’s information technology and business systems.

Up to $2,500 in reimbursement (application fee / exam study materials / exam fees) one time through. All eligible reimbursements will be provided after successfully passing the exam. ISACA membership will be reimbursed separately through Maconomy.

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Provided by ISC², an international non-profit membership association for security leaders.  The CISSP is ideal for experienced information security professionals seeking to prove their understanding of cybersecurity strategy and hands-on implementation. It proves the advanced knowledge and technical skills to design, develop and manage an organization’s overall security posture.

Up to $2,500 in reimbursement (study materials / exam fees) one time through. All eligible reimbursements will be provided after successfully passing the exam.

Bonus of $1,000 after successfully passing the exam.

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)

A certification credential for those with extensive payroll knowledge and experience.

**This certification does require specific payroll experience before becoming eligible to sit for the exam.

Reimburse for pre-requisite courses/programs, study materials and the exam fee (one time through) $6,000 after successfully passing the exam. No payback provision upon completion.

Bonus of $2,000 after successfully passing the exam.

Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA)

A NAPA credential demonstrates a professionals knowledge, expertise and commitment to working with retirement plans. Plan advisors who earn their CPFA demonstrate the expertise required to act as a plan fiduciary or help plan fiduciaries manage their roles and responsibilities.

Up to $1,100 in reimbursement (NAPA membership discounts for exam study materials / exam fees) one time through. All eligible reimbursements will be provided after successfully passing the exam. NAPA membership fee will be covered by the firm to maintain credentials.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

AICPA Certified.  To provide candidates with the information and tools to guide them to successful entry into the accounting profession.  

Up to $4,000 in reimbursement (exam study materials / exam fees / additional sitting fees).   Direct bill available with preferred providers (Becker & Surgent). If study materials are purchased through these two vendors Boulay will upfront the payment of the study materials.  If materials are purchased elsewhere the individual will be reimbursed after successfully passing all 4 sections.  All exam fees and sitting fees are reimbursed after successfully passing all 4 sections of the exam.

Bonus of $2,500 if successfully passed within 2 years of start date.  Bonus of $1,000 if successfully passed anytime there after.

Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB)

The Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB) license is accredited by National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers (NACPB). The Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB) license enables bookkeepers to place "CPB" behind their names and communicates their bookkeeping, payroll, and QuickBooks knowledge, experience, and ethics to employers and clients.

Reimburse for certification bundle, which includes the Accounting Fundamentals course, QuickBooks Online Fundamentals course, Payroll Fundamentals Course, and all three corresponding exams (one time through), up to $1500 after successfully passing all three exams. No payback provision upon completion.

Bonus of $250 after successfully passing all three exams.

Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)

AACSB accredited, developed and administered by the CFA Institute. Earning the CFA charter demonstrates your mastery of a broad range of practical portfolio management and advanced investment analysis skills.

Up to $8,820 in reimbursement (exam study materials / exam fees) inclusive of all exams (one time through).  Direct bill available with preferred provider (Kaplan). If study materials are purchased through Kaplan, Boulay will upfront the payment of the study materials.  If materials are purchased elsewhere the individual will be reimbursed after successfully passing each exam.  Exam fees will be reimbursed after successfully passing each exam (to the maxium amount allowed in total).

Level 1 Bonus is $750 / Level 2 Bonus is $750 / Level 3 Bonus is $1,500 after successfully passing each exam.

Chartered Market Technician (CMT)

The Chartered Market Technician (CMT) credential is the preeminent global designation for practitioners of technical analysis. Core knowledge domains include trend analysis, cycles, system testing, risk management, statistical analysis, asset relationships, behavioral finance, and ethics. Awarded to members who demonstrate mastery of a core body of knowledge in technical analysis and pledge to the Code of Ethics and Standards for Professional Conduct.

Reimbursement for study materials and exam fees up to $4,900 after successfully passing the exam. Boulay will continue to cover membership fees.

Level I Bonus is $500 / Level II Bonus is $500 / Level III Bonus is $500 regardless of when passed. No payback provision.

Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist (CRPS)

The Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist SM (CRPS®) designation enables financial advisors and other professionals to demonstrate their expertise in administering retirement plans for businesses and wholesale clients. This designation is offered exclusively by the College for Financial Planning -- a Kaplan Company (CFFP).

Up to $1,450 in reimbursement (exam study materials / exam fees) one time through, reimbursed after successfully passing the exam. Direct bill available with preferred providers (Kaplan). If study materials are purchased through these two vendors Boulay will upfront the payment of the study materials.  If materials are purchased elsewhere the individual will be reimbursed after successfully passing the exam.  All exam fees are reimbursed after successfully passing of the exam. Credential renewal fees will be covered by the firm every two years.

Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC)

A certification credential for payroll beginners and service and support professionals in positions requiring payroll knowledge.  The FPC is designed for entry-level payroll professionals, sales professionals/consultants serving the payroll industry, systems analyst/engineers supporting payroll systems, payroll service provider client representatives.

Reimburse for exam prep materials and exam fees (one time through) up to $1,200 after successfully passing the exam. No payback provision upon completion.

Bonus of $750 after successfully passing the exam.

General Tuition

Boulay provides tuition reimbursement to help provide support, training, and licensing necessary to enable team members to increase their knowledge, enhance their skills sets, and improve their overall performance. Tuition reimbursement is eligible for programs and/or classes that are related to the team member’s current role and/or projected future opportunity.  Note: for team members in a role that requires the 150 credit hours to sit for the CPA Exam, courses pursued for the 150 credit hour requirement specifically are not eligible for tuition reimbursement.

Up to $5,250 in reimbursement per calendar year for any tuition of courses in pursuit of a Master's Degree. Up to $2,500 in reimbursement per calendar year for any tuition of courses at the college level. *The lifetime maximum available for reimbursement is $10,500.

Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA)

ASPPA Designation for retirement plan professionals who work primarily with 401(k) plans.  Applicants for this exam have a focus on assisting employers and consultants with the recordkeeping, non-discrimination testing and administrative aspects of 401(k) and related defined contribution plans.

Up to $2,000 in reimbursement (exam study materials / exam fees) one time through.  All eligible reimbursements will be provided after successfully passing the exam.

Bonus of $2,500 if successfully passed (within 2 years of an EEs eligibility to sit for the exam or for experienced hires within 2 years of their start date). Bonus of $1,000 if successfully passed anytime there after.

Qualified 401(k) Consultant (QKC)

ASPPA Designation for retirement plan professionals who have mastered the basics of qualified plans and are ready to take on more advanced topics. Earning the QKC demonstrates comprehensive understanding of 401(k) plan design, complements the plan administration knowledge provided in the QKA program and prepares the credential earner to serve in a consultative capacity. The DC-3 curriculum is particularly tailored for senior relationship managers, compliance testers and implementation teams.

Up to $500 in reimbursement (exam study materials / exam fees) one time through.  All eligible reimbursements will be provided after successfully passing the exam.  Eligibility only after the QKA designation is obtained and EE is Supervisor or higher.

Bonus of $1,000 after successfully passing the exam.

Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA)

ASPPA Advanced designation to recognize professionals who are qualified to perform the technical and administrative functions of all types of qualified plans (defined contribution and defined benefit retirement plans).

Up to $500 in reimbursement (exam study materials / exam fees) one time through.  All eligible reimbursements will be provided after successfully passing the exam.  Eligability only after the QKA/QKC designation is obtained and EE is Supervisor or higher.

Bonus of $1,000 after successfully passing the exam.

Retirement Plan Fundamentals Certificate (RPF)

The RPF Certificate Program covers basics of retirement plan administration and is perfect for learners newer to retirement plan administration (6-12 months experience), and acts as an industry review for experienced professionals.

Up to $600 in reimbursement (6 module study course and related assessments) one time through, reimbursed after successfully completing all six required modules.

Series 65

FINRA Series exam. Known as the Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination, qualifies individuals to provide investing and general financial advice to clients.  Obtaining the Series 65 license is important for representatives who provide advice on ERISA-regulated retirement accounts.
