Supra Keyholder Service
Rules and Regulations
Possession of eKEY: Each KEYHOLDER may possess ONLY ONE eKEY at a time. An active Affiliate is granted the right to obtain an eKEY with no restrictions other than a copy of their driver’s license and a copy of their business license.
Subscription:
- Activation:
- A $50 activation fee is a one-time charge that is applied when a new Supra eKEY is being activated. This fee covers the costs associated with setting up the account
- A $40 reactivation fee is applied when a Supra eKEY is being reinstated after it has been suspended or deactivated due to non-payment or other reasons. This fee covers the costs associated with re-establishing the account and ensuring that it is in good standing.
- Payment:
- When you activate your Supra eKEY, you are charged a prorated amount for the remainder of that billing period. After that, a monthly payment of $15 is automatically charged on the 25th of each month.
- Failure to make the payment could result in deactivation of your subscription, which would prevent you from being able to use the Supra eKEY service until the payment issue is resolved.
Equipment Security: It is necessary to maintain the security of each eKey and the PIN Codes and CBS Codes to prevent the use of the eKey by unauthorized persons. Each party in possession of an eKey, whether such eKey is being actively used or not, shall abide by the following conditions:
- To always keep the eKey in such party’s possession or in a safe place; If a key has been lost or stolen, Keyholder must notify the GTR in writing within 48 hours.
• This is not a long term contract and you may cancel the service at any time.
• The eKEY may never be used by anyone other than the issued keyholder, regardless of license status or relationship to the issued keyholder. Allowing another to use your eKEY will result in fine and/or suspension

- Not to allow the PIN for the eKEY to be accessible by any third party.
- Not to share, lend, or transfer the eKey to any other person or entity, or permit any other person or entity to use the eKey for any purpose whatsoever.
- Not to duplicate the eKey or allow any other person to do so; and
- Not to share or lend the code for Keyboxes to any other individuals and entities, whether they are authorized users of the Service.
- Prior written authorization to install or use a Keybox must be obtained from the property owner, as well as from any tenant(s) in possession of the property, if applicable.
- Keyholders shall not access or use, or permit or enable others to access or use, listed or managed property on terms or conditions other than those authorized by the owner or seller.
- Extreme care shall be used to ensure that all doors to the listed property and the Key Box are locked and keys must be returned to the Keybox prior to leaving the property. Keyholder shall never give keys to the property to anyone at any time, including another agent.
- All owners and/or tenant(s) of real property shall be informed that the Keybox is not designed or intended as a security device.
Current Update and Update Codes: eKeys must be updated to access Keyboxes. Update codes shall be issued only to Keyholders who are active and in good standing with Greater Tampa REALTORS® (GTR). and in full compliance with all obligations listed in these Rules and Regulations.
Acknowledgment: Each party using an eKey, Keyboxes or the Service hereby acknowledges that neither the eKey, Keyboxes nor the Service, nor any other SUPRA product used in connection with the Service is a security system. The Service is a marketing convenience key control system, and as such, any loss of Keys or disclosure of Personal Identification Numbers compromises the integrity of the Service. Each party agrees that it will use its best efforts to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of all components of the Service.
Failure to Comply: Failure to comply with the terms of the Supra Rules & Regulations will be considered a violation of membership duties under GTR Bylaws and may constitute grounds for termination of the Keyholder Agreement, deactivation of the eKEY, and/or imposition of fines under these provisions.
If misuse by a keyholder has been noticed to the association and/or Supra, the following actions will apply:

Notice will be given to the key holder of the apparent misuse, with the opportunity for the user to appear before the Professional Standards Committee to show cause why his/her key privileges should not be suspended or terminated and a fine levied.

In order for request for an appeal to the Task Force you must pay half of the fine levied.

The following penalties may be applied:
First offense:

Fine up to $500 and his/her key service may be turned off for a period of up to 30 days for Unauthorized use of Lockbox Key (allowing key to be used by another key-subscriber)

Fine up to $1000 and his/her key service may be turned off for a period of up to six months for Unauthorized use of Lockbox Key (allowing key to be used by licensee who is not a key-subscriber)

Fine up to $2000 and his/her key service may be turned off for a period of up to 1 year for Unauthorized use of Lockbox Key (allowing key to be used by non-licensee).

Code of Ethics training, in person, will be required and 30 days to pay fine levied.
Second Offense:

Fine up to $15,000 and his/her key service to be terminated for up to three years.
GTR may refuse to issue or suspend existing keys held by an individual following their arrest and prior to their conviction for any felony or misdemeanor which, if the crime, in the determination of the Board of Directors, relates to the real estate business or puts clients, customers, or other real estate professionals at risk.
Cancellation of Key
If you wish to cancel your Supra eKey, you must submit your request for cancellation in writing to memberservices@tamparealtors.org.
Cooperating Keys:
Your membership with GTR will grant you automatic Supra Key access for the following associations: West Pasco Board of REALTORS®, Pinellas REALTOR® Organization, Hernando County Association of REALTORS®, Englewood Area Board of REALTORS®, REALTOR® Association of Sarasota and Manatee, Venice Area Board of REALTORS®,and Punta Gorda-Port Charlotte-North Port Association of REALTORS®.
