Congrats to our newly elected Board of Directors 
We are pleased to announce the results of the Board of Directors Election. We’re grateful to all candidates for stepping forward to give back to the Realtor community through our association service. And, thank you to the REALTOR® members who voted. Board Appointees and Officers will be announced in October.

Executive Committee applications due this Friday 
 
The Minneapolis Area REALTORS® five officers – President, President-Elect, Secretary, Treasurer, plus the immediate past president – make up the Association’s Executive Committee.  Each officer serves a 1-year term. 
 
Executive Officers Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Authorize programs & activities which implement the vision, mission and strategic direction of the association 
  • Think & act strategically 
  • Speak publicly & represent MAR to the media, members and the public
  • Maintain a constructive partnership with the CEO and understand MAR's governance structure 
  • Facilitate and preside over meetings with remaining focused on MAR's priorities
Additional Leadership Opportunities 
As a MAR appointed director at the State or National level, you will be providing direction and leadership for the association and serving as an ambassador of MAR. Commitment and attendance at meetings is essential.

A memorable evening for the Foundation
The MAR Foundation GALA was held on the evening of Thursday, September 12 where over 300 REALTORS® and friends gathered for a Silent Auction, exciting Live Auction, Wine Pull and other special giving opportunities. Many organizations that the Foundation supports were also in attendance. It was a night to remember!
